REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE MAY WOMEN'S RETREAT!
May 20th - 22nd
Theme: Your Innate worthiness for all the Blessings Imaginable!
Society sends subtle……. and not so subtle messages, that some of us are more valuable and worthy than others! These standards of value and worthiness come through in our education systems, family systems, cultural beliefs, religious institutions, and the media. They are based on things like levels of education, scores on tests, the type of job or career that you have, what kind of house and car you drive, the family you come from, certain physical traits such as height, weight, skin color and facial features and abilities with things such as music, art and athletics.
What if none of this was true?
What if we’ve had it all backwards and upside down?
What if each and every one of us is born with the exact same innate worthiness?
No one better than another!
The other criteria could be there or not, but it has nothing to do with how worthy or valuable you are.
What if the only thing holding us back from having all the blessings we can imagine, is our belief system about our value and worthiness?
Those beliefs are exactly what is blocking the blessings!
What if the subconscious sabotages us “before things get too good”?
This retreat will take a deep dive into these ideas and concepts as this exploration will be the focus of the Springs Retreat!
During this retreat we will work to adopt new beliefs
that allow in the blessings!
You will come away with new beliefs about yourself and we will close up and toss away that umbrella that is blocking the blessings from raining down on you!
I am excited to announce that Rochester Artist Shannon Hickey Hookway will be joining us on our Spring retreat and leading us through a transformative art experience you will never forget!
You will go home with a piece of your art that will continue to heal you for years to come! Shannon is a Multidimensional Artist. Embodying the soul of an artist from her earliest memories, everything she touched became art. Carrying this spirit and wisdom throughout her career, she now focuses her attention on the canvas as she creates pieces that are both modern and timeless. As a Teacher, Painter and nurturing Healer, Shannon believes in the power of art as therapy, having prescribed this same medicine for herself throughout her life.

The literal translation of qi gong is “energy work.” It is an Asian form of gentle yoga incorporating slow movements and breath work that has been around for thousands of years. Much of it is performed while standing, though there are a number of seated sets as well. There are hundreds of systems of qi gong that have come from various lineages, but they all focus on the energetic well-being of the individual.
This class will gently and safely stretch and strengthen the body with the goal to build and maintain a healthy back and joints. Geared toward beginners, this gentle practice is also good for maintaining peace and balance in all levels.
The term "forest bathing" emerged in Japan in the 1980s as a physiological and psychological exercise called shinrin-yoku (“forest bathing” or “taking in the forest atmosphere”). The purpose is twofold: to offer an eco-antidote to tech-boom burnout and to allow participants to reconnect with the natural design of nature.
We will have opportunities each day to enjoy the beautiful 236 acres of woods, streams, gorges, and walking paths. It offers a panoramic views as distant as Pennsylvania.
Researchers are now amassing a body of evidence, proving what we all know to be true: nature is good for us and has both long and short term mental and physical health benefits.
