This class includes gentle stretching to relieve the tension that builds up in the muscles from a lot of sitting as well as the stress of the workplace. We will also strengthen muscles of the core necessary for good back health. The class includes ball work for massage and guided relaxation. Yoga for Stretching, Strengthening and Cardio:
This class will stretch and strengthen the entire body in a faster moving flow making sure that you get a good work out for your heart and tone for the muscles. You will enjoy the upbeat music and the fun vibe.
This class incorporates deep stretches as well as toning of the muscles that support a healthy back. We will end with a process that will induce the Relaxation Response which lowers the heart rate, breathing rate and metabolic rate so that the cortisol (the stress chemical) stops being released and the body goes back into balance.
Mindfulness helps us gain awareness into habits of being that may be contributing to our own stress. It teaches us to step into the present moment, the moment where all of our power exists. We practice a way of Being with ourselves and others that cultivates peace and an increased enjoyment of life. Meditation is a tool that is largely misunderstood and available to everyone! In meditation we can do so much, from releasing stress and anxiety, building self -confidence, improving relationships with others, releasing fears, move into the greatest version of ourselves and so much more! The benefits of these practices grow exponentially.
All of these classes can be taught in 30 minute, 45 minute or hour long sessions. They can run for a 4, 6 or 8 week series or as an ongoing program. All supplies are brought to the class for your use.
